OKAPI CONSUMER LICENCE
Effective 31 August 2026 | Version 1.0
1. Licence grant
When a consumer order is accepted and the matching entitlement is created, Okapi grants the named purchaser a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased product and version for the purchaser's own private, household or personal administrative purposes.
2. Permitted use
The purchaser may download the entitled files, make reasonable backup copies, enter the purchaser's own information, print working copies for personal use and provide a completed extract to an adviser or authority where reasonably necessary for the purchaser's own matter. The adviser receives no separate reusable licence.
3. Prohibited use
The purchaser must not resell, redistribute, publish, sublicense, share access credentials, provide blank or reusable copies to others, remove rights notices, use the product for clients or customers, upload it to a shared template library, imply government or professional endorsement, or create a competing commercial product.
4. Ownership
Copyright and other intellectual property remain with Okapi or the identified rights holder. Purchase transfers permission to use the identified product version, not ownership of the product or source materials.
5. Product boundary
Consumer resources are general information and organisation tools. They do not assess eligibility, select a visa, determine evidentiary sufficiency, predict an outcome or provide personalised immigration assistance. Personal circumstances must be handled through a separate professional engagement.
6. Updates and corrections
The product page states the update entitlement. Unless expressly promised, the licence covers the purchased major version and corrections supplied for that version, not every future major release.
7. Security and termination
The purchaser must take reasonable steps to protect account credentials and files. Okapi may suspend access reasonably necessary to address fraud, security, copyright or legal risk. For a material licence breach, Okapi may terminate the licence after any legally required notice or opportunity to remedy. Termination does not remove accrued consumer rights.
8. Consumer rights
Nothing in this licence excludes, restricts or modifies a non-excludable consumer guarantee, remedy or other statutory right. The Refunds and ACL Remedies policy explains how to report a problem.
9. Records and governing documents
The accepted licence version, SKU, product version, purchaser and entitlement are recorded with the order. This licence operates with the Digital Product Terms, product page, Refunds and ACL Remedies policy and Privacy Notice.
